Day 1 Friday 18th April 2008
Australia – Kota Kinabalu
Depart Australia and fly to Kota Kinabalu. On arrival you are transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 Saturday 19th April
Kota Kinabalu (B D)
This morning you take a city tour and historical WW2 sites, Australia Square, Observation Hill and City War Memorial. This evening you transfer to the SANZAC School (Local schools invited) Scholarship Award, followed by the Welcome BBQ Dinner.

Day 3 Sunday 20th April
Kota Kinabalu – Labuan Island (B L D)
This morning you have an early breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight to Labuan Island. On arrival you are transferred to your hotel. You will take a city tour and visit St. Anne’s School, former site of ‘tuck shop’ Australian Army Canteen. The afternoon is at leisure.

Day 4 Monday 21st April
Labuan Island (B L D)
Depart to War Cemetery for Official Dedication. The afternoon is at leisure to shop or just relax.

Day 5 Tuesday 22nd April
Labuan Island – Sandakan (B D)
This morning you transfer to the airport for your flight back to Koto Kinabalu and then on to Sandakan. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. There will be a welcome dinner at the English Tea House.

Day 6 Wednesday 23rd April
Sandakan (B D)
Today you will take a City Tour, Agnes Keith House, St.Michael’s and All Angel’s Church, Chinese Temple and Trig Hill. In the afternoon you can take an optional tour to Labuk Bay Palm Oil area and Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary.

Day 7 Thursday 24th April
Sandakan – Berhala (B L D)
This morning you depart to travel to Berhala Island with a beach landing. Visit Water Village with a family welcome lunch. In the afternoon you visit the Sepilok Orangutan Reserve for the afternoon feeding.

Day 8 Friday 25th April
Sandakan (B L D)
This morning you depart at 4.30am for Commencement of Dawn Service at POW Memorial Park. Gunfire Breakfast Breakfast at Pavilion. You return to the hotel and this afternoon you time is at leisure. This evening dinner is at the Kings Seafood.

Day 9 Saturday 26th April
Sandakan – Ranau (B D)
This morning you travel to Ranau, along path of Death March, stops along way at villages and POW WW2 Historical locations. *(option for Anzac Remembrance Walk) Early departure 6.30am selected stops & meet with Trek Guides for 15km walk to Ranau Memorial site). Everyone will meet at Gunner Albert Cleary Memorial for a Twilight Dedication.

Today you take a tour of Pot Poring Hot Springs, Canopy Walk & Jungle Waterfall.

Day 11 Monday 28th April
Ranau – Koto Kinabalu (B D)
Today you visit the Memorial Gardens Dedication, Mt Kinabalu National Park and Orchid Gardens. In the afternoon you visit a hilltribe market on the way to Kota Kinabalu. This evening there is a cultural dinner show.

Day 12 Tuesday 29th April
Koto Kinabalu - Beaufort (B D)
Today you travel to Beaufort and visit VC Winner Tom Starcevich Memorial Site also visit local area and markets. After lunch visit Bangewon Area to recall Z-Force Operative Jack Wong Sue’s covert activities which won him his DCM. Visit the Petagus Memorial in honor of the Chinese heroes of the underground killed by the Japanese. Starcevich Memorial site. Visit local area markets. Farwell dinner at Tan Jan Aru Mediterranean Beach front Restaurant.

Day 13 Wednesday 30th April
Koto Kinabalu – Australia (B)
This morning you are transferred to the airport for your flight home.
