Bombing of Britain
In July 1940 Germany began their invasion of Britain from the skies. There was only three thousand aircrew from the British Empire that took part in this battle. Its success stopped the invasion of Britain by German forces.
You will visit aviation museums, seeing the aircraft of the 1940’s, see crash wrecks, and also a range of memorials and actual airfields used.
